Materials That Cannot Go in a Dumpster
To comply with Virginia environmental regulations and landfill requirements, certain materials require special handling and cannot be placed in a dumpster.

- Gasoline and fuels
- Propane tanks
- Tires
- Vehicle batteries
- Refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners containing refrigerant

- Ammunition, fireworks and explosives
These items require specialized disposal and should never be mixed with standard debris.
